The Waterloo Black Hawks game on Saturday, February 27th versus the Chicago Steel will be hosted with the seating configuration approved as part of Young Arena’s original October COVID-19 Readiness Plan.
The October Readiness Plan’s seating layout was previously approved by the city’s Young Arena advisory board, Waterloo Leisure Services, and Black Hawk County Public Health and offers socially-distant seating pods. The Black Hawks also emphasize that face coverings will still be required under the parameters of the City of Waterloo’s continuing mask mandate.
Tickets for this weekend’s home game are on sale now, online only from tickets.waterlooblackhawks.com. Under the auspices of the COVID-19 Readiness Plan, the Black Hawks are encouraging electronic ticketing this season. Previously this winter, all tickets available to non-season ticket holders were $25 each. Under the current configuration, ticket rates are as follows: Glass - $25, Center Ice - $22, Attack Zone - $16, Goal Zone - $14. To maintain the greatest flexibility in the event of changes to the COVID-19 situation, ticket sales for each future game will begin at 8 a.m. on the Sunday prior that game (subject to change).
