As the 2020/21 hockey season wraps up this weekend, the Black Hawks are bringing some special guests to the Coors Light Cold Zone.
Friday night is Country Night, featuring Catfish Murphy. A returning favorite in Party Town, the group is inspired by outlaw country, southern rock, Americana, and Texas/Oklahoma Red Dirt music. Catfish Murphy has been the touring taverns, clubs, honkytonks, and festivals across Iowa since 2014.
Then Saturday, change gears with Joe Boyle. The local musician makes his first appearance in the Cold Zone, bringing a repertoire of classic favorites from the 80s and 90s. Sing along or make requests!
Both nights, the music will begin when the doors open an hour before puck drop, then resumes at the intermissions. Friday’s game begins at 7:05 p.m. with a 6:05 p.m. Saturday start time. Both games are against the Des Moines Buccaneers.
