FishSticks Millwork Player of the Week – Evan Fear
Fear stopped 95 percent of the shots which came his way over the weekend, including all 26 during a 6-0 shutout in Game Two against the Sioux Falls Stampede on Saturday. Playing nearly seven full periods of hockey over the weekend, Fear’s goals-against average was 1.29.
UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker – Emil Ohrvall
Waterloo’s leading scorer during the regular season produced a team-high four points during the first two games of the playoffs. Ohrvall had an assist on Friday, then added three more on Saturday. All four of those points came in power play situations.
